I wait alone
to confide in silence
as thoughts turn back
in hollow hope
(I shouldn't have come)
What an idiot...
Pathetic sentinel
so stupid...
I wait alone
even though
I shouldn't
and I hate my
dependancies
my need
my subtle ache
this pen...
And the words
I write
useless...
meaningless...
dead.
as I
wait alone.

How I feel about poetry at the moment...I'm fine, I just have nothing and I have a habit of being chronically pathetic. Meh...it'll all pass in time. Silly me. This is probably a waste...

It happens. Good moods wouldn't be good moods if we were in 'em all the time.

Never a waste of time or talent, that's how your mind is...a terrible thing to waste.

Yeah, I know what you mean...those 'blah' moods are often the most aggravating.

You know what gets me through 'em? Going back to something I'd forgotten about or given up on a long time ago (like reading Calvin & Hobbes, for example), and revisiting the old memories. It usually eliminates the 'blah'-ness and puts everything back in perspective.

Ya it's not a full out "Blah" just a little one....There is so much to love and too much good going on, to get bogged down...its fine really. Good suggestion...picking up a good book (even calvin and hobbes...awsome stuff!) is a great way to get over yourself! Yuppers...perspective is key!
