In a single existance
complacent daylight
washes and intrudes
with feeble rays on
overcast hours,
amid which I live
to learn...
Yes.
I live to learn
And I do.
More than ever
I do.
Slowly slipping
into rest.
Long nights of wading
through pitted dreams,
I sleep.
I assume that's true
when I
Awake...
Slowly, but surely.
And I'd speak a little
If silence permits me
If it helped you some
And if you cared to ask
I'd answer still.
But it's not alot
And I realize that
But, it's something
I can do
yes, it's something
I can do...
So, if you feel the need
I'd give chance for cure
And I'd let you linger
In a better light
better, than this one
here.
On a cleaner slate,
than ours.
To start a fresh
as forgotten friends
Found...
And it's all that I can do
But, it's something
I can do
And I'd do it still
For you...
